*WARNING: STRONG LANGUAGE AND SENSITIVE TOPIC*

It's both taboo to talk about and stigmatized to the point of shaming the survivors and those left behind. Suicide claims more than 44,000 lives per year in the United States, with an average of 123 per day. Depression contributes to 2/3 of suicides in the U.S. and yet what about those left behind? How do they cope, move forward and survive? Well, if you're Kellie Frye, you get to work organizing a memorial ride for her late husband Josh, you put all of that pain into action and push through moment by moment. In honor of Suicide Prevention Month, this tough conversation was one I felt privileged to share with her. She was kind enough to share her story with me over a few pints, and I'm grateful for her gift of time. If you're ever at that point, please, please, please reach out. Call me, message me, whatever it takes or call the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-8255, 24/7. I promise you, you're not alone
